My name is Debbie Atchison. I am an EL teacher here at Jackson. We keep very busy learning English as a new language each day. I was born in Seymour. I am married and my husband's name is Mark. We have moved and lived all over the country. We have one son, Mitch, who works for Eli Lily in Indianapolis. We have a German Shepherd named Khloe. I enjoy cooking, traveling, and movies. !

Hello! My name is Mrs. Burbrink! I teach 4th grade at Jackson Elementary. This is my 7th year of teaching. I graduated from Indiana State in 2011. Here are some fun facts about me: I have identical twin girls, Mia and Marlie. They will be 4 in Dec. I am married to Matt. My favorite subject is math. I like to cook and spend time outside with my family! I have a dog named Brody. I am looking forward to a fun year with my 4th grade students!

Welcome! My name is Lindsey Kilgas. I am a second grade teacher at Jackson Elementary School in Seymour, Indiana. I graduated from Indiana University in 2018 and began my teaching career immediately following in the Seymour Community School Corporation. Hello! I am Miss Martin and I teach 2nd Grade. This is my second year at Jackson Elementary and my second year of teaching. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana where I cheered for all four years and studied Elementary and Special Education. While teaching, I also am currently coaching the JV cheer squad at Columbus East High School. I am the oldest of 10 children; I still have siblings in elementary school. My parents are also both currently teachers within SCSC, at the middle school and high school.

I am the Seymour-Jackson Elementary School Librarian. This is my second year as the school librarian.

Hello, I am Mrs. Rueger. I am from the 'Small Town' of Seymour, Indiana. My husband Andy and I have four children. Our oldest daughter Grace attends Indiana University and is majoring in marketing, Our son Bryce is deceased and would be turning 16 in March, our youngest son Brock is a 2nd grader at Jackson elementary, and our youngest daughter Emma Jo is starting Kindergarten this year. A former history teacher encouraged me to be a teacher. After graduating from High School, I attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My experiences in Education have been wonderful! I have had the privilege of teaching in 3 states. I taught 1 year in Indiana before moving to Kentucky. I taught 2 years in Kentucky and 8 years in North Carolina before moving back to Seymour in June 2013. I love teaching Kindergarten children to become readers and writers! In my spare time I enjoy Coaching Youth Cheerleading in the Seymour Area Youth Football League, attending any of my kids sporting events, ranger riding and just spending time with my family.

Hello. I am the Speech and Language Therapist at Jackson Elementary.

I'm excited about teaching first grade this year! I've been a teacher for 26 years, and I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I've taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and Reading Recovery. My favorite subject to teach is reading! My husband and I also pastor a small church in Aurora, IN. In my free time (hahahaha), I like to work in my garden, ride four-wheelers, go for walks and drink coffee with my friends! I have a wonderful husband, Jeremy, and two wonderful daughters, Chloe--18 and Addie--14. And I can't forget my dog, Rascal! He's not so wonderful! :)

I live in Brownstown, IN with my husband and two sons. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

My name is Bob Wood. I have taught for 31 years of PE at the K-12 grade levels. I also taught 8 years at the college level .I currently teach p.e. and teach at the k-5 level at Brown and Jackson Elementary Schools. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, riding my bike, playing golf and watching my daughter Emma play Collegiate Tennis at Marian University.
