My name is Rosemary Albright. I am the K-2 EL teacher at Jackson! I have been teaching at Jackson Elementary since 2007 and I love our school. Learning English as a new language is a very exciting part of our classroom each day. I live in Columbus with my husband, Todd. We have two grown daughters, Macy & Madison, and a son-in-law, Connor. We also have two dogs, Maui and Maverick. Cooking and traveling are two of my favorite things to do when I'm not at school. I collect recipes and children's books.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Burbrink! I teach 4th grade at Jackson Elementary. This is my 7th year of teaching. I graduated from Indiana State in 2011. Here are some fun facts about me: I have identical twin girls, Mia and Marlie. They will be 4 in Dec. I am married to Matt. My favorite subject is math. I like to cook and spend time outside with my family! I have a dog named Brody. I am looking forward to a fun year with my 4th grade students!

WELCOME THIRD GRADE STUDENTS!!! I am very proud to be your child's teacher for the 2019-20 school year. This marks my 19th year teaching at Jackson Elementary. I am a Jackson Graduate as well and have seen both my children travel through their elementary years at Jackson. I couldn't have asked for a better learning environment! I have a son Blake and is taking college classes at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis and a daughter Gracie, that is a junior this year at SHS. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and Special Needs Students. My longest experience teaching is in the 3rd grade classroom. We have 3 Beautiful Pugs. 'Charlie, Chelsea, & Otis My hobbies include swimming, gardening, cooking, traveling and reading. I am confident we are going to have a successful school year!)

My name is Gina Galligar and I am excited to be the speech and language therapist for the preschool! I love helping children learn to communicate better. I am married to Patrick for almost 28 years. He is a Pastor at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Columbus, IN. We have been blessed with two boys; Tim, age 26 and Sean age 21. Tim is married and is a middle school teacher. Sean is engaged and attends Olivet Nazarene University where he also plays football in addition to studying mechanical engineering.

Hello! I am Miss Martin and I teach 2nd Grade. This is my first year at Jackson Elementary and my first year of teaching. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana where I cheered for all four years and studied Elementary and Special Education. While teaching, I also currently coaching the freshman cheer squad at Columbus East High School. I am the oldest of 10 children; I still have siblings in elementary school. My parents are also both currently teachers within SCSC, at the middle school and high school.

Hi! I am so glad you are here! I am Mrs. McCartney and have been a teacher here at Jackson for 5 years, 1 year in 1st grade and the last 4 years in kindergarten. I have been teaching for many years and have taught in MI, AZ, NH, and now IN. I am married to Mr. McCartney who teaches and coaches high school football. We have 2 sons, Brendan (19) and Colin (18) who are both in college. I love to bake, read, hang out with my family and love on my doggy, Lily!
I am a graduate of Indiana University and have lived in Seymour my whole life. I love finding new and exciting ideas to use in my classroom! In my free time (ha!) I like to craft, be with family and friends, and try to cook (I am not a good cook). I am the Wildcat Pride leader for Jackson Elementary.

Hello, I am Mrs. Rueger. I am from the 'Small Town' of Seymour, Indiana. My husband Andy and I have four children. Our oldest daughter Grace attends Indiana University and is majoring in marketing, Our son Bryce is deceased and would be turning 15 in March, our youngest son Brock is a first grader at Jackson elementary, and our youngest daughter Emma Jo is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten next year. A former history teacher encouraged me to be a teacher. After graduating from High School, I attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My experiences in Education have been wonderful! I have had the privilege of teaching a year in 3 states. I taught 1 year in Indiana before moving to Kentucky. I taught 2 years in Kentucky and 8 years in North Carolina before moving back to Seymour in June 2013. I love teaching Kindergarten children to become readers and writers! In my spare time I enjoy Coaching Youth Cheerleading in the Seymour Area Youth Football League, attending any of my kids sporting events, ranger riding and just spending time with my family.

I'm excited about teaching first grade this year! I've been a teacher for 26 years, and I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I've taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and Reading Recovery. My favorite subject to teach is reading! My husband and I also pastor a small church in Aurora, IN. In my free time (hahahaha), I like to work in my garden, ride four-wheelers, go for walks and drink coffee with my friends! I have a wonderful husband, Jeremy, and two wonderful daughters, Chloe--18 and Addie--14. And I can't forget my dog, Rascal! He's not so wonderful! :)
