*******Starting Monday February 17th, 2014, Jackson Elementary will be dismissing at 4:00.  Our start time will not be changed or altered, there be one hour of additional instructional time added to the end of the day.  This is in result of the multiple days we have missed for the 2013-14 school due to adverse weather conditions.  We appreciate everyone's support and assistance as we make the necessary adjustments in the best interest of our students.*******

Dear Wildcat Families,

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! We look forward to an exciting and educationally challenging school year. The staff of Jackson Elementary has been working hard and is committed to making your child’s educational experience the best it can possibly be. I want to take this opportunity to remind our patrons of the importance of becoming a “Community of Learners”. Our school, as with many organizations, is in itself a community, that community needs support, guidance, at times help, volunteers, etc. Please take it upon yourself, whether you are a parent, sibling, grandparent, or student, to make the “Community” as strong as it can be. Our goals cannot be reached with out this assistance so please seek ways to help in areas that are in need by either contacting the school office, your classroom teacher or the Jackson Elementary PTO. I thank you in advance for your help and support.

Parent Afternoon Pick up- Carpool lines at elementary schools tend to be somewhat long. Thank you in advance for following our arrival/dismissal process and being patient in the carpool line. This is putting the safety of our students first. Our process for student pick up at 3:05 has not changed from last year. A descriptive map will be sent home with each car rider student and will be available in the main office and also on our school website under the Document section.

School Supply Lists- The supply list for each grade level, along with other useful information can also be found on our website under the Document drop link at the top of the school webpage.

I am looking forward to another excellent year at Jackson Elementary. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or call.
